Doubles Workshop w/ Nadine and Lorena!

Friday, August 17 from 7-8:30pm—Doubles workshop with Nadine and Lorena! Doubles pole dancing has become increasingly popular over the years.  Having a partner provides motivation, guidance, and some impressive tricks. In this 1.5 hour workshop Lorena and Nadine begin with a cardio warm up and move on to a variety of assisted (partner) stretches.  Next we will work on doubles spins, static holds, and anchor/flyer moves (like the one pictured to the left).  In order to participate in this workshop you can come in a partnership or group of 2 or 3, or we can help you form one.  You should be comfortable climbing and inverting.  Partnership requires a significant amount of trust and communication.  If you are unsure of your skill level or are unable to find a partner but would like to participate, please call Marie for more information or to find an evenly matched partner. $30 per person.

SOFA Show Sunday, October 7

We are having our 3rd bi-annual SOFA show on Sunday, October 7th, at 4pm.

SOFA show is where all our Fun Pole Fitness students and teachers perform for  their SOFAs (Significant Others, Friends and Awesome Admirers of Pole). Each of you are welcome to participate. Please let Marie know now if you’re interested in performing. Performance spots are limited and will go fast! (BTW, Lorena is recruiting for her Zombie/Halloween group routine, if you’re not ready for a solo!) We will give you more info about tickets for the audience as we get closer to the date. We will still be donating all proceeds to Hillcrest Youth Center.

We will have an amazing finale for you—you won’t want to miss Lisa’s last performance before she leaves for the Army!
